3 Tips to Stay Secure

Over the last few months, people have relied on technology more than ever. We love to hear that tools and applications have allowed you to work remotely and even increase efficiency in the workplace. It’s important to remember that technology is a great tool when used securely.

Due to the recent ransomware attack on the City of Knoxville, we want to remind you of a few simple tips to keep you and your business safe.

  • Passwords: Create strong passwords and change them often.
  • Set up multi-factor authentication: MFA asks you for two methods of identification – or credentials – when logging in to an account. Click here to learn more about MFA.
  • Click smart: Take caution with emails that look unusual and/or ask for passwords or other personal information. Don’t open or click links in emails that seem questionable.
