The love for technology has always been a part of me, but it wasn’t until the middle of college that a career in the tech field first crossed my mind. However, before I could really pursue it, God had other plans.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in History in 2011. After college, I interned for a year with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), where I did ministry on the campuses of UT, Maryville College, and Pellissippi. After a great year, the Lord led me down another path with US Bank in downtown Knoxville. At both of those jobs, I loved being the “unofficial tech guy” and really enjoyed problem solving random issues my team had as well as developing my service skills. After 2 years with US Bank, the opportunity with Allevia came up, and I couldn’t refuse.
Now that I work with Allevia Technology, I can say that I truly love where God has me. I sincerely hope that this is where He plants me for a long time because it is a place where my passion for people, problem-solving, and technology meet. As a follower of Christ, I love building relationships with people. As a History major, I love to research and pass on what I know. And as a tech geek, I love teaching our customers about technology and figuring out all the puzzles they bring us everyday.
I will do my best to find answers for you and communicate them to you in clear English.
